A different platform had the ability to set automatic progression criteria which was THE BIGGEST time saver as a BCBA. It was a simple drop down menu from the specific target and you could set specified criteria for each individual goal. For example, if I have a target that is for a client to sit on the toilet for 20 seconds in the absence of CB, I could start the duration at 2 seconds, then set the criteria to move to the next step after 3 consecutive data points of 2 seconds, and the program would automatically move it to 5 seconds (or whatever I set), and so on until mastery is obtained, and then you could put specific criteria for maintenance and returning to intervention as well.
This is also really helpful for prompt levels, so I could go from most to least automatically instead of needing to check up on the program every day to see when the client is ready for the next step.
Of course, this requires solid RBTs that are trained well and trust in their data collection fidelity, but it was a game changer for progressing kids at their appropriate pace.
